Alexander, could you tell us more about the specific goals that you had in mind while searching for an anti-fraud solution?

“Fraud issues are always in focus for those who work on a CPA, CPL, or CPI basis. Actionpay had an in-house ad fraud detection solution and some manual checks to provide the best possible traffic for our advertisers, but we were looking for a third-party solution made by a professional team that is primarily focused on the traffic quality of conversions to make it even better.”

Can you describe how FraudScore’s solution is being used on a daily basis? Who are the main users of FraudScore’s reports?

“Our accounting department generates FraudScore reports every two weeks and forwards them to our affiliate team. Such reports include our traffic source name and ID, fraud levels, risk levels, and fraud risk reasons. Based on this data, we disconnect affiliates from affiliate programs or ask them to bring traffic in line with offer requirements. This approach helps us avoid direct complaints from our advertisers.”

What is the most valuable information in FraudScore’s report for you?

“The most valuable information is fraud reason and detailed comments on fraud type. We use this information when communicating with affiliates and for rejecting low-quality conversions.”

What results are the most significant to you?

“The most noticeable and important result is the decrease in overall traffic complaints. This has the most noticeable effect on our CPL-based programs, which usually need special attention because of high payouts. High payouts always attract fraudulent affiliates, but now it is easy to control the quality with FraudScore.”
