India affiliate summit
Victoria Petrova interviewed FraudScore BDO Zarina Shirinkina about her business trip to India affiliate summit and figured out why it’s not a bullshit. That's how Zarina is building communications on the India affiliate Summit
Hi, Zarina! How was your business trip to India?
It’s all good. I’m full of new impressions.
Okay, let’s talk about INDIA Affiliate Summit, why did you decide to attend this event?
Well, It’s one of the main conferences for FraudScore. Our team tries to attend events related to affiliate marketing all over the world. India is not an exception. FraudScore has many clients from this area, they were key visitors on this summit. We’re really interested in the indian market, it’s developing quite fast, it has big growth potential and any possible future cooperation.
What kind of expectations did you have? Any? Were they met?
You know, being honest, I expected to see the summit bazaar, but everything was great. None of my bad expectations were met. I can compare it with any European conference. It wasn’t worse than those. I'm kinda surprised.
Did you meet someone important, make any business contacts? Tell anyone about FraudScore?
Of course, but now it’s too early to tell if they were very effective or not, time will tell. And I need to admit it’s kinda confidential. No one will be happy if some names show up ahead of time. But I’m really glad that I’ve met all these people.
You know there is an opinion that similar conferences are a total bullshit, it’s a waste of time. Do you agree with it or not? How do you think is it important to attend India affiliate summit, for example, if we’re talking about this particular event?
I’ll start with a first question. Nope. I don’t agree at all. Everyone, who thinks that it’s a bullshit, will not go far. It’s important to respect people, such conferences and always try to find a way to build communications and get what you want. If you know your purposes on the conference, if you’re acting nice and friendly, being collaborative, you’ll get what you need. And it’s not a bullshit.
I see, am I right if I say that you have a positive feedback from India affiliate Summit.
YES. We’re (I mean FraudScore) planning to attend India affiliate summit every year since now.
Tell our blog readers what conferences do you plan to attend this year.
This year if full of conferences, so we can meet almost every month. On the 25th of October, while our CEO, Dmitry Isakov will be in New York, I’m going to Moscow to the Target Summit. In November our team will be in Madrid, Spain. Btw we’ll have our booth there, so if you see us, don’t be shy, come and meet our team. At the end of the year, I’ll be in Bangkok, Thailand. Maybe, see you there. Follow our updates on FB or Linkedin pages.
